Abstract

Objective: To discuss the effect and safety of radiofrequency catheter ablation of idiopathic ventricular tachycardia and premature ventricular contractions. Method: 30 patients in our hospital with idiopathic ventricular tachycardia and premature ventricular contractions were treated with radiofrequency catheter ablation. The effect and safety would be observed.Result: Radiofrequency catheter ablation succeeded in 28 patients, success rate was 93. 3%. 2 patients failed, and went on with radiofrequency catheter ablation, and successed. During the treatment no one had any adverse effect. Conclusion: Radiofrequency catheter ablation is effective and safe for idiopathic ventricular tachycardia and premature ventricular contractions.
