Abstract

Based on comparison of traditional firewall and distributed firewall,this paper has a study on the application of IDS(Intrusion Detection System) based on distributed firewall in the campus network and it implementation issues.It includes the working principle of distributed firewall and analysis of its architecture,requirement analysis and designing principle oriented to the IDS of distributed firewall in campus network,the multi-layer safeguards architecture and security audit policies and some other key techniques.
