Abstract

Based on the databases of SCI,INSPEC and DII of information Platform of ISI Web of Knowledge and Derwent Analytics Software,this article compared and analyzed the articles of natural gas hydrate science in Science Citation Index(Expanded) from 1995 through 2005 from different aspects.Then it discussed the status and trends of international natural gas hydrate research and development by comparing the output of articles and patents of different institutions on bibliometrics.
