Attempt to use turbine-driven pump as main feed pump for boiler

Usyally the electrical feed pump was used for boiler,and the turbine-driven pump was used as standby pump.The surplus steam of the boiler or industrial extraction steam is used to feed a small turbine and to drive the boiler feed pump,and the exhaust steam of the small turbine is sended into deaerator and used as heater steam.This operation mode can reduces operation cost and raises economic benefit.The attempt to use the turbine-driven pump as boiler main feed pump was realized in the new 130 t/h gas fired boiler of Power Plant in Shuicheng Iron Steel Group,and the method can be offered colleagues as reference.
