Variation of Saccharides in Young Leaves of Populus Euphratica in E Jina County

Abstract

The experiment was carried out with leaves of Populus euphratica in E Jina county.The Populus euphratica leaves were picked from two different places,one was often irrigated,the other was dry.The changes of the soluble sugar and starch during germination of Populus euphratica's leaves were studied.At the same time,the changes of the leave sizes were observed.The results showed the size of the leaves was increased as the leave growing.The contents of both leave starch and soluble sugar at forest station were higher than that at Qidaoqiao.
