"International Law" in the Early Meiji Japan

When it had been introduced to Bakumatsu Japan,International became not only the beneficial tool of dealing with foreign affairs for shogunate,but also policy-making reference books of the Meiji government. International left traces in the official document issued in the early years of Meiji,in the clever use of diplomatic activities,and in primary school educational subjects,which from different sides reflected the existence of state of International Law in the early Meiji.
