Abstract
A Confucian school of idealist philosophy in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) exerts a great impact on poetics of its age, such could be found in the poetry studies at that time. This paper focuses the influence on the perspectives of poetics' ontology, function, composition, appreciation, criticism, style and poets' attainments.
