Abstract
The paper has a flashback on the traditional features for the old Suzhou,classifies the different stages of the public space construction of the old Suzhou,and explores the features of the city in the process of building the new one,so as to help people to realize the protection and construction of the old city and to accumulate experiences for the old city construction.
