Abstract
In this paper, quantitative and other supplementary indexes for natural grassland degradation were developed based on field survey indexes for natural grassland degradation were developed based on field survey data and grassland resource basis data of 20Century70s and 20Century80s,and international grassland degradation standards.Based on these indexes, grassland of Qinghai is divided into 3 classes:slight degradation, moderate degradation, and Severe degradation. And phenomenal characteristics and index species of each class are developed.
