Abstract
The dollar is still the main assets of foreign exchange reserves in many countries. American currency and capital markets is one of the most mature markets in the world,dollar assets will be the main component of the government and private foreign investment including China. This article holds that fundamental economic factors are not the reason of depreciation of the dollar and the world economic trend. Weaker dollar also belong to the controlled devaluation of monetary authorities. High oil prices and inflation and subdebt crisis make the uncertain American economic more bleak,no matter fundamentals analysis of U.S. domestic economy or international economic,short-term depreciation of the dollar has become an irresistible trend.
