On Basic Spirit of Marxism and its Contemporary Value

It is necessary to establish and grasp the basic spirit of Marxism that we insist on or develop Marxism in order to have true Marxism adapted to China's reality,and that we propagate and popularize Marxism in order to guide the reality with Marxism.In order to realize and grasp the basic spirit of Marxism,we must insist on three basic principles: insisting on nuclear status of Marx thoughts,insisting on whole developing history from the same theoretical origin and reflecting comprehensively the basic spirits.At the same time,we should reach the requirement of the following: firstly,persisting in kernel position of Marxist thoughts;secondly,persisting in the Marxist development coming down in one continuous line;thirdly,overall reflecting Marxist characters.Now the great development of the basic spirit of Marxism is not only the necessity of building national spirit and social ideology,but also the necessity of guiding the social construction of contemporary China with developing Marxism.Firstly,it is beneficial to tell the real Marxism and fake Marxism;secondly,it is to lay the foundation for the theoretical research and constructing project of Marxism;thirdly,it is beneficial to correctly realize the status and functions of Marxism in the history of mankind ideology;fourth,it is beneficial to correctly realize the status and functions of Marxism in the developing history of human society;fifth,it is beneficial to answer the rebuke of western thinkers especially philosophers;sixth,it is beneficial to propagate and popularize Marxism.
