Abstract
Through analyzing drilling and well logging data,the relationship between log facies and sedimentary microfacies of the Y9 oil formation in Ximawan Area was established,the type of sedimentary micro-facies and characteristics of areal distribution of sedimentary micro-facies were studied,and the relationship between the sedimentary micro-facies and the oil-bearing capability were analyzed.Study shows that channel,natural levee,crevasse splay and sedimentary micro-facies of interchannel can be discened in Y9 oil formation in Ximawan Area.And sandbody is well grown in the sedimentary micro-facies of channel,they are the main petroleum reservoirs.
