Abstract

The experimental results of measuring Young's modulus of elasticity on metal are analyzed from two aspects, including the error 's transmission of indirect measurement and the bending of wire. The result shows that in the direct measurement of all,the greatest error results form the measurement of the position changes of the ruler in the plane mirror image. In addition,it is found that the more the existence of the bending of wireis, the larger the measurement results of Young's modulus and the errorare.
