Abstract
The electromagnetic simulation sofware HFSS is widely used in electromagnetic simulation design due to its high simulation accuracy and reliability,but for the complex antenna model,it takes much time to creat the model because it has no perfect method to simplify modeling operation. By using VBScript language function provided by HFSS as an interface,utilizing Matlab to call HFSS,and cooperating with HFSS to establish the model,the fast modeling can be realized. A design method of slot waveguide antenna was proposed. A slot waveguide array antenna was designed. Its model was established with Matlab and HFSS,and simulated with HFSS. The results indicates the accuracy of the design method,and feasibility of calling HFSS by Matlab to establish complex antenna model.
