Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of enalapril on the concentrations of glucose, insulin and lipoprotein in plasma in the patients with hypertension. Methods: The concentrations of glucose, insulin and after receiving enalapril for 3 months were observed. Results The SBP decreased highly(P0.01), and the concentrations of glucose and insulin in plasma decreased from 9.98±4.6 mmol/L and 138±18 mmol/L to 7.1±1.8 mmol/L and 101±30 mmol/L respectively(P0.01). The TC, TG, LDL c, apoB were decreased obviously and HDL c. apoA were increased notably(P0.01). Conclusion Enalapril can decrease the blood pressure, at the same time, it can improve insulin resistance, and decrease the risk of coronary atherosclerosis heart disease in patients with hypertension.
