Abstract
Objactive: To investigate the relationship between hematocrit and cerebral infarction. Methods: 179 cases of cerebral infarction discharged were investigated. All cases were divided into two groups by CT/MR scan: cortical infarction and deep infarctions, hematocrit was examined after admission and was divided into hemstocrit≤42.00% and 42.00% groups. Results:There were the most stroke cases(39.7%) in hematocrit 36.00% ,but the brain infarction cases were the lest(4.5%) in hematocrit≥46.00%. Hematocrit≤42.00%, deep infarction was more common than cortical infarction(P0.05). Conclusions: Hematocrit related to cerebral infarction in aged, in low hematocrit value, deep infarction was more common.
