Abstract
In study of effectiveness of using website,the website information intelligibility is an important factor;mental model theory is an important research direction.By reviewing the information users' mental model of abroad study,referencing measurement methods related to mental models,we chose some students of Nanjing University of science and technology,organized two goods described experiments to measure their mental models,and study the mental model's matching degree between web designers and users.We proposed a set of methods measuring mental model in experiments,and put e-commerce site classification system as the research object,at last we got four types of user mental models.
