Abstract

The effects of cold deformation and heat treatment process on microstructure and mechanical properties of 0Cr17Ni steel were studied. The results show that the work hardening mechanism of the steel is weaker. With the increase of deformation amount, the recrystallization temperature is lower and the recrystallization grain size is smaller. With the increase of annealing temperature, the plasticity of the steel increases first and then decreases , while the compressive strength and hardness of the steel decreases first and then increases .The optimum annealing temperature of the steel deformed 50% is between 700℃ and 800℃, while that of the steel deformed 30% is between 750℃ and 800℃ in cold working
