Abstract

Shen Congwen 's literay achievements demonstratesthe success of the countryside men 's struggle in the city. The contradictions of reality and transcendence, inferiority and pride were the major contents of his psychology. Through the analysis of his early prose we conclude that transcedence was the important feature of his psychological evolution.
