Correlation between elevated blood pressure under stressstate and coronary artery stenosis

Objective:To investigate the correlation between coronary artery stenosis and elevated blood pressure under stress in non hypertensive patients. Method:We selected 1 141 non hypertensive patients who were suspected coronary artery disease and performed coronary artery angiography.The patients with blood pressure ≥140/90 mmHg(1 mmHg=0.133) during the coronary angiography were in observation group,while the patients with blood pressure 140/90 mmHg during the coronary angiography were in control group.The correlation between coronary artery stenosis and elevated blood pressure was observed. Result:The rates of normal coronary artery were 44% and 22%(P0.05),and rates of coronary stenosis ≥50% were 17% and 33%(P0.05) in control group and observation group,respectively. Conclusion:Coronary artery stenosis is related to the elevated blood pressure under stress in non hypertensive patients.
