Synthetic Measurement and Regional Comparison of Urbanization Level Based on Entropy Method in Henan Province

Taking the method entropy,the synthesis level of urbanization was measured from 2001 to 2009 in Henan province.And the regional urbanization level disparity was also discussed.Results showed that the Henan urbanization had entered a rapid development stage,the industrialization and economic opening up had become significant motive forces for the development of urbanization.The regional disparity of urbanization level was quite remarkable,and the characteristics of urbanization system evolvement were also different among cities.
