Abstract
[Aims] Q-type whitefly Bemisia tabaci caused serious damages in many areas in china in recent years.however,there are few studies on resistance of this pest to insecticides.here,we tested the toxicities of seven insecticides to adults of Q-type B.tabaci by leaf-dipping method in Beijing.[Results] The results showed that the descending order of toxicity of these seven insecticides to B.tabaci adults is abamectin,emamectin benzoate,spinosad,acetamiprid,imidacloprid,chlorpyrifos,dichlorvos.[Conclusions] Thus,antibiotic insecticides with high sensitivity and alternate use of neonicotinoid pesticides are recommended in controlling whitefly Bemisia tabaci in Beijing areas.however,usage of organophosphorus pesticides should be restricted.
