Abstract
Toughening epoxy is very important in the field of epoxy.Development of research on toughening epoxy resin are reviewed.Epoxy resin toughened by liquid crystal polymer(TLCP),interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) and nano-particles in recent years are introduced in detail.These methods can obviously improve the integrate performances of epoxy.The advantages,disadvantages and toughening mechanism are also explained.
