Abstract

The dynamic cone penetration test is a relatively simple laboratory equipment,easy to adapt to a wide soil type,and can be continuous in situ penetration test method.Its mechanical foundation soil layer,as well as evaluating the uniformity of soil physical properties and has some effect.The author of a substation in Guizhou geotechnical engineering investigation,for example,through the heavy dynamic penetration cone number of experimental records hammering through the rod length and the water table correction,to determine the bearing capacity of soil and soil under the foundation to determine the mechanical layering,drawing engineering geological investigation report of the profile.This article also describes the test while the basic mechanism and construction points and made notes.
