The Technology of Shale Gas Exploration and Development

With the global economy development to the growing demand for oil and gas resources and the increasing difficulty of conventional oil and gas exploration and development,the proportion of shale gas and other unconventional oil and gas resources will be increasing.It has been proven that there was terrestrial shale gas geological resources for134.42×1012m3,recoverable resources for 25×1012m3in China,it has great potential.How to effectively explore and develop the shale gas become the key.This paper introduces the main exploration and development technologies of shale gas,including well logging technology,multi-stage fracturing of horizontal wells technology,supercritical CO2 development technology,synchronous fracturing technology,etc.It also summarizes the existing problems.Shale gas resources is very rich in China,But it still need new technology,new method breakthrough in exploration and development process.
