Abstract
Objective:To investigate the causes, pathogenesis and clinical characteristics of hypokalemic paralysis. Methods:After clinical data, electroneurophysiology and examination lab.37 patients with hypokalemic paralysis were observed and analysed. Results:The patients with hypokalemic paralysis was mostly mid-young people, and it was related to heredity;the hypokalemic paralysis attack showed most factor of infection(38case,51.35%),after eating too much(14case,18.92%),and acuity action(8case,10.81%)on sleeping; The clinical exponent symptoms showed extremity flaccid paralysis, hypotonia, tendon hyporeflexia or areflexia, accompanied with hypokalemic and changes of electrocardiogram(ECG).A few of attend breathe with difficulty and pant in patients with hypokalemic paralysis. Conclusion:A relationship was noted between the infection and hypokalemic paralysis, although the mortality rate was lower, yet it was unable to be early diagnosel and fitfully treated,it might be dead by breath muscle paralysis.
