Analysis on the current situation and countermeasures of health services in rural areas of Hainan province

Objective:To understand the current situation of health services in rural areas of Hainan province.Methods:A stratified random sampling method was used to select 15 township hospitals and 25 rural clinics for questionnaire survey,Epidata 3.0 software was used to build database and SAS 8.1 software was used for statistical analysis.Results:The main problems of medical institutions in rural areas of Hainan province included: the educational level and professional title of the medical workers were relatively low,the professional techniques were laggard;partial basic medical facilities were dated,the medical facilities used commonly were deficient;the economic investment was few,the income and expenses of medical institutions were unbalanced;the public health service system was weak,and so on.Conclusion:The overall current situation of health services in rural areas of Hainan province is good,but some aspects need improvement,it is recommended to enhance personnel training,increase economic investment,and optimize the allocation of health sources.
