Abstract
The fiercest competition of the twenty-firs: century is the competition of talents. The cultivation of talented persons depends .on education, which, first of all, hinges on the quality of teachers and their ability to implement quality- oriented education. In this article, the writer mainly discusses the following questions: the meaning and characteristics of quality-oriented education, the quality and ability of teachers, how to implement quality-oriented educatin and how to improve teachers' quality.
