Abstract
During the research of vehicle performance,it is crucial to measure the moment of inertia of the key parts, especially the inregular and complex ones.Describe the principle and method of measuring the moment of inertia of the automoblie parts using torsion pendulum.Analyse the relations among the measurement error and sloping angle and slenderness ratio,do error analysis on an standard specimen which average error is 0.224%,show the measurement accuracy of the moment of inertia for complex vehicle parts is reliable through torsion pendulum.
