Abstract
The hybrid algorithm of TDOA/AOA has better location accuracy than Chan algorithm under the CDMAnetwork,butwith the fall ofAOAps accuracy,the location accuracywill drop gradually,andmay below the Chanps. In this paper,a time difference of arrival (TDOA) location algorithm is extended to a TDOA/ AOA hybrid location algo2rithm which can not only inherit the good performance of the original algorithm ,but also improve the location accuracy by making full use of the AOA measurement. Simulations showed that the performance of the proposed tracking method was better than the TDOA tracking method.
