Abstract
In order to study relationship between leaf transpiration at different developmental stages and environmental factors,Salvia sclarea L was used in this investigation. The results showed that the transpiration of leaves for the plat studied at seeding stage was the strongest and changed dramatically in one day.Furthermore,at bud stage, the transpiration of leaves for the plant was inferior to seeding stage and the transpiration of leaves at the stage of florescence was ebb. From the research results,it also could be seen that temperature, intensity of illumination and leaf temperature had positive clearly correlation with transpiration rates. However, intensity of illumination and temperature had negative correlation with stomatal conductance, while the humidity appeared to be positive correlation with transpiration of stomatal conductance. In addition, transpiration rate and stomatal conductance had the similar trends in day time.By particular analysis,it has been discovered that they had some relationship between them and may control the evaporation of the`plant leaf.
