Abstract
Based on the meteorological data, the evapotranspiration of wheat has been estimated by using FAO-17 Penman revised equation and Penman-Monteith equation method respectively in Xinxiang, Henan province. The results showed that the total reference evapotranspiration estimated by Penman-Monteith equation had a good agreement with that estimated by FAO-17 Penman revised equation. Though there had much difference in radiation and aero-dynamics between those method,the total relative error was less than 10%. The evapotranspiration estimated by Penman-Monteith equation and FAO-17 Penman revised equation had much agreement with measured data in field experiments.
