Integrated mechanized minging practice of thin seam coal in Laoshidan colliery

Abstract

Aim to the mining linking up problems between the 12# thin coal seam and the next medium thick seam which belongs to Laoshidan colliery of Shenhua Group Haibowan Mining LLC,the paper puts forward fully mechanized mining technology and explores the features and technical requirements of 1208 mechanized mining face of the 12# coal seam.What's more,the paper conducts the equipments selection and researches on the match of three-machine,which is then applied into field practice.The field practice results show that follows:the selection of ancillary equipment to the three-machine is reasonable,and the related equipments such as support and shearer equipment meet the actual needs,and more importantly,the thin seam mechanized coal mining technology solves mining linking up problems between the thin and medium thick seam of Laoshidan Coal Mine.Besides,this technology creates economic benefits of about 2700 to 3600 million and saves coal resources and extends the life of Laoshidan coal mining as well.Finally,the coal mine achieves the goal of safety and efficient mining of thin seam.
