Abstract
The Confucian-dominated tradition of School moral education attaches great importance to the value of knowledge in moral education and the conveying of moral knowledge. However,Zhuangzi had entirely different perspectives. He doubted knowledge as the base of the existence of morality and asserted that knowledge can not be applied in moral field.Knowledge is not only useless to the solving of moral problems, but also harmful to the development of morality if it is taught in moral education. In Zhuangzi's understanding,as the moral life of human is based on the unknown rather than the known, moral knowledge should be removed from the moral field;meanwhile, the epistemology,as the way of moral thinking should be changed drastically.
