Abstract
Western ideology field has recently re-surveyed the ethic relationship between man and nature from the philosophic viewpoint.It is this re-survey that impels the development ecological and environmental thoughts in the West,forming two main schools of Human centralismand Anthropocentrism.This paper intensively introduces and comments on various theories.It is of great significance in today's modernization to draw lessons from the Western thoughts in order to establish an ethics thought on the relationship between man and nature,which is suitable to China,and it is of great significance to solve the problems of sustainable development.
