Abstract
According to the Willson theory, the pneumatic parameters of the blade of a 1 MW variable-pitch wind turbine are planned out.The structural analysis for the turbine blade is done with the ANSYS of FEM.Considering the low interlayer strength of the composite material of the turbine blade, the limit wind speed and the weak point of the blade are predicted.A simple way for designing the wind turbine blade made of composite material is proposed.
