Abstract
In this paper,a novel space-time cross-correlation channel model for MIMO(multiple input multiple output) wireless systems in fading micro-cell environment,i.e.elliptical MIMO channel model,is introduced.Base on the model, the wireless fading MIMO channels of micro-cell are simulated by using Monte Carlo method. The influences of the antenna spacing of base station and mobile station, the number of antennas and the average signal-to-noise ratio on the MIMO channel capacity are investigated. The conclusions could be useful for design and analysis of the MIMO systems.
