Abstract
Aobaoshan lead zinc ore field is located in the north margin of north China continent and eastern part of Shaolangshan polymetallic ore zone. There are three known ore deposits such as Aobaoshan, Dagushan and Shuanshanzi deposit. Aobaoshan deposit is symmetrically distributed on both wings of Aobaoshan reversed anticline with Shuiquanguo formation of Lower Silurian as main ore bearing stratum. The ore veins are controlled by quartz greenschist and greenschist rock. The ores belongs to sedimentation metmorphism hydrothermal (gas) reformation type deposit. It should extend further northeastward in a long distance and the further prospecting target should be the anomaly area of D3 polorization ratio.
