In this paper, key points of fuel injection rate shape mode and the development of means to carry out fuel injection rate control in common rail diesel engine are narrated in detail and development trend of injection rate control technology is also pointed out. The ideal combustion process mainly lies on the characteristics of the diesel engine fuel injection system.
