The Study of Confucian Classics and Historiography in the Han Dynasty

Having followed the changes in the social and political situations,the sole respectable position of the study of Confucian classics was gradually established in the Han Dynasty.Affected by it,Historiography gained fresh and great developments in this period,during which Confucian classics' influence and cultivation and Confucianists' support and contribution seemed very prominent.In a word,Confucian classics and Historiography interacted and improved each other in the Han Dynasty,which became a unique phenomenon in traditional Chinese society and in the development of traditional academic culture.
