Abstract
Stability analysis for a three-dimensional single truss arch,a sub-structure composed of a series of three-dimensional truss arches and the whole truss arch structure are carried out in the paper.Two different structural systems with and without braces in the sub-structure and the whole structure are considered.The linear stability,the nonlinear and the elasto-plastic stability analysis of both the perfect and the imperfect truss arch structures are investigated.The numerical results can be referenced for the design of truss arch structures in engineering.
