Abstract

The Avant-Garde Novels appeared in the 80's,and it is an indispensable important component in the new period literature.The Avant-Garde Fiction is considered to be western irrationalism literary imitation,also nicknamed rootless literature.In this paper,through the analysis of two writers Ma Yuan and Yu Hua,pointed out that the Avant-Garde Fiction's irrational components,which included Western irrational factors,and drew nutrition from the Chinese traditional culture.Their inner spirit is closer to Chinese traditional Taoist culture.
