Abstract

Geological background for metallogeny and characteristics of ore deposit of Maozu lead and zinc deposit was expatiated with a focus on ore bearing strata,occurrence of lead and zinc orebodies and characteristics of the mineralization.It is considered that the MaoZu Pb-Zn deposit belongs to syngenetic fault controlled hydrothermal exhalation-sediment transformation deposit according to the study on metallogenic era and matter source,metallogenic temperature of the deposit.
