Management System on Agricultural Engineering Construction Standardization in China

The authors study the current situation and problems of agricultural engineering construction standardization management system,by the methods of literature research, expert interviews and site visits, from the development process, standard system, management of institutional facilities. The results have shown that the standardization of agricultural engineering constructions in a rapid increase stage; we have had a certain number of standards, but which are difficult to play a role in system way because standards developed by too many standards development organization; local standardized management agency is not clear that why the level of standard applications is low. The function of standard education, implementation and regulatory has yet fulfilled. We recommend that management of the technical and standards committee should be future strengthened, encourage enterprises to participation the development of standards, define divisions of responsibilities, and strengthen legislation to make the implementation of standards and supervision institutionalized.
