Analysis on the Status Quo of and the Path for the Research of Internationalization of China's Academic Journals

Abstract

This paper analyzes the academic trend and subject of academic journal's internationalization by using CNKI, systemize the highly-cited papers about journal's internationalization published in the period of 1994—2013, and connecting with the bibliometric analysis on China's SCI international journals in JCR(Journal Citation Reports), provides an evaluation model of internationalized journals, and probes into the development paths of academic journals, encourage academic journals merge into the international mainstream with their own subject characteristics and choose the path of suitable for their own internationalization development.
