Abstract
Based on the aim of improvement cleanness of bearing steel, gear steel and spring steel, the effects that affected the quality were analysised, he deoxidation process of predeoxidation with Aluminium and the final-deoxidation and inclusion modification by Ba-containing alloy were advised. By using this deoxidation technology, the results are as follows: the total oxygen content is below 10×10~(-6) for bearing steel, 15×10~(-6) for spring steel and 20×10~(-6) for gear steel. The composition and distribution of inclusion is also optimium.
