A Empirical Study on APEC's Trade Liberalization Effects

Abstract

In 1994,APEC Committee established the goal that the developed countries in 2010 and the developing countries in 2020 should realize the trade and investment liberalization.The realization of trade liberalization will have important effects on Asia-Pacific region and the whole world.This paper makes a simulated analysis of the effects of trade liberalization with the Computed General Equilibrium model.The conclusion is that almost all the members can benefit from it.According to the conclusion,China,as one of its members,becomes the country that benefits more from the trade liberalization.
