Treating diffuse foreign body granuloma caused by polyacylamide hydrogel injection for breast augmentation

Abstract

Objective To investigate the reason and treatment of Diffuse foreign body granuloma caused by polyacylamide hydrogel injection for breast augmentation.Methods An incision on infra mammary plica was maken to carry out mastectomy.Results The wound healed on the fine stage,and a pian disappeared.The 0ne year follow-up result showed that the patient totally recoverned and felt satisfactory.Conclusion To reach radically cure diffuse foreign body granuloma caused by polyacylamide hydrogel injection for breast augmentation,the foreign body granuloma might be excised thoroughly under MRI examination guidance.
