Abstract

In order to understand the growth characteristics of hybrid(mild Kaluga ♀×farmed Siberian sturgeon ♂)under artificial farming conditions, experiments were conducted on the growth of juvenile hybrid at 14.7~16.8 ℃.Through processing data of growth by Excel and SPSS software, the results showed that the juveniles reached a mean body weight of 533.1 g and a mean total body length of 51.74 cm after 80 days rearing from a mean body weight of 178.9 g and a mean total body length of 37.43 cm.We found that there was a linear relationship between the total length and day-age in the form of L=0.1683t+10.942,R2=0.9665,and there was a power function relationship:W=24.304e0.0129t,R2=0.9421,between body weight and day-age,and the total length-weight relationship was W=0.0007L3.4461,R2=0.9984.The power was larger than 3,which showed that the growth of weight was faster than the length of hybrid juvenile, and the growth was allometric.
