Abstract
Based on international conventions and treaties concerning copyright, this paper attempts to discuss the definition of cinematographic and its moral rights. By comparing the relative provisions in Chinese and Japanese copyright law, it discusses several faults in current copyright law, which are hoped to be rectified in the future modification of Chinese copyright law.
